RESTAURANT 2 CRAFT HALANDRI | 1997

Commercial

This microbrewery restaurant is the first to be constructed in Greece.
The design is based in the idea of rupturing the boundaries of the building’s shell, in order to create a multiform space, able to contain and be contained at the same time.
It is the combination of indoor production and service that had to be depicted in the design, as well as the company’s dynamic profile.
The construction consists of three layers of different materials, glass, metal and wood, combined in trapezoid sculptural sets, maneuvering in both height and spread area.
Their irregular geometry contributes to viewing the space as a fragmented shell and their juxtaposition gives a filtered visual reality, a combination of density and void.
