PAROS SETTLEMENT | 2010
The complex consists of five small houses, positioned in lot which is located in a quiet part of the village of Naousa. A system of small volumes and an arrangement of open courtyards are harmonically assimilated to the neighborhood through the proper use of scale. Pergolas are protecting the private spaces from public exposure. The amphitheatrical array allows the houses to have a view to the sea. The use of a simple, minimal morphological vocabulary creates a synthetic unity and integrity. A small settlement is born inside the village.
