The hotel room is created by extracting volumes from a solid that occupies the room’s initial space. The excavated volumes create a tectonic landscape with reference to the archeological sites, quarries, rocky landscapes. Grey concrete is used. It is composed by aggregates from the Greek natural resources. The small scale of gravel is the composite that composes.
The horizontality of the side walls refers to geological layers. An L shape suspended element organizes the basic resident’s functions. The bed the working area, the sliding tv, are situated on the horizontal platform.
